The low temp causes poor flavor extraction and the end result is really terrible tasting coffee.

Still, you can choose between a 6, 8 or 10 ounce cup of coffee as well as hundreds of types of K-Cups, meaning you can simply get different flavors by buying different capsules. It’s also compatible with the My K-Cup universal reusable coffee filter, which we strongly recommend that you buy instead of always relying on K-Cups, given their environmental footprint. Keurig K-Mini coffee maker sells in several color options, all of which look great! However, I was surprised that there was a price difference between colors. After all, it was the same coffee maker, so I expected the same price to hold across different hues. Keurig K-Mini is a good machine, but may not be suitable for everyone. It most certainly is not a good choice for coffee lovers who like experimenting with brewing coffee. Furthermore, it might not be a great choice for those who would like to try coffee grounds or brew more advanced coffee beverages.

If you want something nicer, you will really have to consider a machine that doesn’t use pods. Despite its small size, some reviewers have noted that this coffee maker isn’t much faster than a full-size version. However, they have noted that this mini version is “more hygienic,” especially since it only holds enough water for a single cup — meaning no excess water “sitting in it between uses.” These are still small numbers and for the price you probably won’t get better usability.
