Durable Nonstick Cookware Sets

I also made long grain rice in a two-to-one water-to-rice ratio to ensure it didn’t stick to the pan and yielded fluffy, separated rice grains.

They boast of their chemical-free ceramic nonstick formula, and sell a small range of pans in on-trend colors with names like “perracotta” and sage. Caraway’s design is a little more modern in shape, with drawer-pull style handles and flat lids.

The handles are wide and comfortable to hold, which makes flipping ingredients a cinch. Store your pans with organizers to avoid stacking the pans, which may inadvertently scratch or chip the cooking surface and can remove the non-stick. Only use low to medium heat with ceramic cookware, as higher heat settings will reduce the coating’s longevity. But they are generally going to have lots of pots and pans in a range of sizes that you probably won’t use.

Still, be sure to check the materials of the nonstick cookware set before purchase. Even though I’m a professional cook, I only use the same two saucepans and skillet for every meal or a big pot if I’m boiling pasta. But if you’re someone who cuisinart knife regularly cooks for a crowd or prefers to make more elaborate multi-component meals, you might feel a bit let down by the lack of variety in this set. The only major complaint the testers had with this set is the silicone handle covers.
