The temperature gauge is easy to use and is great for ensuring that you choose as precise of a setting as you desire. What I am impressed about here is the GS4 grilling system, of which, the infinity ignition system is a major function. Essentially, it ensures that the grill lights up faster and I have to say, this feature works like a charm.
At the same time, as you grow as a barbecue enthusiast, this grill accommodates this. While it may not be on the same level as high end or newer models, the Weber Spirit II E 310 has plenty to offer in terms of both power as well as grilling opportunities. I especially like the fact that the grill starts up with minimal fuss thanks to the GS4 grilling system. And, since you don’t have to stay on top of the temperatur or worry too much about maintaining the temp, you have a more relaxed time ahead of you.
We assume the four other batteries power the igniter, LED lights, and fuel gauge. Both of the 210 grills have the exact same cooking area (360 sq in primary + 90 secondary), heat output (26,500 BTU/hr) and porcelain enameled cast iron grates. Despite their similarities the Spirit II grills are a serious upgrade from the standard Spirit grills.
With a revolutionary cooking system aimed to reduce flare-ups and messy residue and evenly distribute heat. Also, these grills come with larger grilling surfaces with side tables and warming racks. Our main complaint for just about every grill is the obligatory weber spirit 2 bi-metal dial thermometer in the hood that gives you a ballpark reading of what the temperature is high above the meat. Since we cook down on the grates, it’s always better to use your own digital thermometer and place a probe at the cooking surface.
I can also do so quickly to ensure that all the food starts cooking at the same time. Even though we didn’t officially test the Spirit II E-210, we did test its predecessor, the Weber Spirit E-210 (our former top pick). And one of our guide writers, Lesley, owned the Spirit II E-210 for years before passing it off char broil performance to a friend (to make room for long-term testing the Genesis II E-310). She recounts that the Spirit II E-210 held consistent temperature across the cooking grate, and flare-ups were never an issue. The perfect size to grill up a couple of burgers for everyone in the family, or switch it up with chicken and steaks.
Clearance items may be exchanged for store credit within 5 days of purchase. The grease management system ensures that all the grease ends up in one place. As long as you make a point to empty out regularly and remove the grease, cleanup should be a breeze. What’s more, the grease management system is easily accessible from the front, making it a breeze to get to it.
